I took this picture for Alansd, but thought it could be of benefit for the whole group.
Access panel for shower plumbing on 28' rear bath twin bed models.The space is double walled, cutting the inner wall should be done with caution to not damage the plumbing and/or shower enclosure (see tape measure).
A piece of matching woodgrain material covers the hole.

I wondered how i would get to the plumbing after I rolled back the bathroom door on that side.

well I will say cutting the aluminum panels for access was a whole lot harder than I expected. Why the don't make these things with press board i will never know

Not having the "Frank like" workshop I used my drill with a saw/drill bit and tried a jig saw, and a rotary cutter also. I guess I needed a reciprocating saw. The drill did it after a bit of sweat.
The pipe is cleanly broken at the joint where it goes into the brass fitting.
I bought some replacement parts at HD and will try them tommorow, hope compression fitting will hold up- any ideas on that before I do it?
also the brass 90 degree bend I bought won't turn to screw in, for lack of space. I got two screw in brass fittings, the 90, and a compression adaptor for the broken pipe. Might have to bring the pipe out of the shower control somehow and extend before I attach the old pipe. Yikes. check my next post...

Not sure about your connections. You could use the white connectors in the picture to tie into the old line and use new material on the other end to connect to the brass fitting?
The extreme curve of the old line may cause it to break again.

I will have to visit the store to see what kind of connectors I can come upwith. It seems like it would make sense to have a flexible line coming out of the brass shower valve vconnector, and then just fit that line to the grey pipe. Not sure i can find the parts for that, though.
Anyway at least I can get to it if it ever breaks again. What do I mean if?
It did last 20 years though.
