Attn Don,

Check the bushings of the "idler arm pivot bracket
asembly" on the driverside and "relay arm pivot
bracket assembly" on the passenger side. Have it
jacked up and someone turn steering wheel while
you observe the play if any.

I had to replace the bushings in mine. 1985 325.

A few weeks ago I talked about doing this job on
this web site.
