Portable Satellite Antenna Mount

Has anyone successfully used a flagpole mount with a wheel plate anchor as a mount for a satellite antenna? 'Would mount antenna approximately 6' above the ground. 'Reduces risk of disturbance with a ground tripod...

We are in Alaska each year for the summer and use the motorhome as our home base. We don't move it after arriving at our summer location. It is parked where access to the satellite would be ideal for the flagpole mount. 'Needs to be portable for transport and storage in the motorhome at the end of the summer. We leave the motorhome and a car stored at a general aviation airport when we leave Alaska.

Any thoughts/observations welcome...
