How do you remove the shower to replace water lines to shower head on a 1979 Airstream 28 ft rear bath motor home ??? Help !!!!

I've not specifically worked on a 79 motorhome but based on the ones that I have worked on when Airstream assembled these things they started in the back and then worked their way forward.

That doesn't necessarily mean you have to rip everything out in front of the shower but it does mean you will have to remove something, possibly a closet wall, to get to it. It's kinda of like a jigsaw puzzle, if you enjoy those then working on your Airstream will be fun. Otherwise.....

On my 82 280 I cut access hole under the bunk near the outside wall. The book shows the access but there was no opening in my coach. I cut the hole and covered it with a snap-in plumbing access door from Home Depot. It's not easy but I replaced my valve and re-plumbed through the hole.

Mine does have the access hole in the location you describe. It was cut with a 4" hole saw and covered by a square piece of vinyl covered aluminum that matches the bulkhead. It allowed me enough space to replace the value and replace the water lines with pex. 1980 28' Excella.
