Did you catch the mustard and onions too?

Actually - I thought this whole thing was a joke but saw pictures of it over lunch on my FB feed - didn't mean to make light of a real accident.

Innovation is what progress is all about.

This is the new Canadian Class C PROTOTYPE.

Production will begin if the demand is there!

If I read this ad and the photos correctly, it is for a Spartan trailer that has had an old Econoline cab and drivetrain grafted to the front: http://fayetteville.craigslist.org/rvs/4918679077.html

Saw this replica 1933 Dymaxion here at the Amelia Island Concours d'Elegance last month. While not a motorhome per se, it could be made into one. Designed by Buckminster Fuller, there were 3 originally made and could carry 11 people and get 30 MPG. When I saw it I thought it was a squashed AS motorhome.. It is aluminum. Interestingly, back in the mid 70's, when Bucky was all the rage, I was asked by a girlfriends father, a CEO of a large auto parts supplier in Detroit, to come up with an idea for a innovative vehicle that his company could promote. I designed a three wheeled vehicle much like this, but with an elongated geodesic frame for super strength and safety and eggshaped for aerodynamics ( fat end forward). Of course the geodesic design was inspired by Bucky, but I had no idea he had designed a vehicle like this. If he had only married the two ideas! Mr. Lomason was not impressed with my idea however.

Not exactly odd, but really nice and interesting.
I got to check out this fine Flexible coach at Laguna Seca during this summers trip.
It belongs to Jay Leno's chief mechanic Bernard Juchli and his sweet wife Rosalee. They have owned the coach for over 20 years and did the conversion themselve over the years in their back yard .
As you would guess its a very meticulous job of creating a comfortable, very capable motorhome..

I still can't manage to post more than one pic at a time, this kept me from posting actively here of my trip this summer.
Never have seen the ilusive paper clip.

They managed to find NOS windows and siding.

The coach has ducted AC, beautifully crafted interior, and a modern up sized engine and trans. Its able to tow a trailer full of parts, tools and the F 1 sidecar motorcycle
That Benard is currently national champion with.

One of the features that I liked and see as a good fit for our curved ceilings , is the pressed metal ceiling tiles. Very "old west"to me. Looks great in person!

Cheers Richard

In the movie "RV" they have a Flexible bus that's supposed to be owned by Jeff Daniels aka Travis Gornike. Travis used it in the movie. I remember seeing some of those old buses in service when I was a kid.
