The front looks like a GM motorhome from the late 70s or early 80s. I think it looks as ugly as a mud fence. Not for me and I think they'll have a hard time selling it. I don't understand the huge fin, maybe they just had left over aluminum

The inside looks like it has a lot of steel plating, hopefully, it's really just polished aluminum. Anyway, interesting picture, thanks for posting

It's a highly modified 1984 Airstream 270 Motorhome.

It was on Ebay a month or two ago for $35k...
For sure an unusual take on a classic...

I would think that fin would really affect handling and gas mileage in certain conditions. With a strong cross wind I'll bet you'd be fighting the steering wheel a lot.

I still think it looks cool though

It would appear he embedded a roll around tool box. Interesting approach but also rather heavy.

That Airstream looks like a fish-mobile.

Looks like a pig snout to me and not very aerodynamic. You just have to wonder what someone was thinking when they assembled this.

From the name "Jetvan" I guess they thought it looked like a jet engine intake. But from my perspective, you're right that "pig snout" is the most accurate description of all!

And WAY overpriced at the current bid of $53.03!

c'mon you don't think its worth $75?
When I had my 280 I also looked at several Bluebird Wanderlodges for sale. I really like them and I actually visited the factory outside Macon, GA. They have a campground for their owners outside where you wait to get you in for repairs, and such.
I also like the GMC 70s models and looked at a couple of those too. There's a guy in Orlando who rebuilds and customizes these exclusively. I visited his shop and saw some awesome rigs there.

Another interesting unit is the Revcon. Aluminum bodied.

I think they'd have to pay me to be seen in the same town with it, let alone take possession of it!

As an engineer— albeit retired— I'm a proponent of the "form follows function" school of design. That pig-snout hermaphrodite is form without function, and without aesthetics, either.

Hey Tevake

Tevake;
You can't use the quick reply button to post the photos. You use the regular "reply". Then scroll down past the text box. You will see "manage attachments". Hit that and when it opens you will have a box where you can load multiple pics at one time using choose photos button.
Let hit the button to them load and then hit "close this window"...in the upper part of that window. Its clunky but it works.
