Not necessarily odd, but I like them-
A Bluebird Wanderlodge:

If not a Classic Airstream I think an older Wanderlodge would be my next choice.

I was looking at a conversion bus like a Bluebird before I bought my first Airstream Motorhome. No regrets 15 years later

Keep in mind an Airstream Classic would be my first choice. It's supply and demand. They don't make 'em anymore. They're only gonna get harder and harder to find. Considering other brand old school cool retro vintage motorhomes expands horizons/makes it more likely that a person interested in a vintage motorhome will be able to own one.
I think the old Bluebird Wanderlodge , GMC motorhomes, Foretravel motorhomes, and others are cool, too.

Also, I have always liked the now defunct Supreme motor coach manufactured in Kosciuslko, MS and the Corvair based motorhome- I can't remember the name. It isn't Unihome, is it?

Perfect Airstream Conversion candidate

Now this might expand Airstream demand with the yacht crowd? Might be a great conversion unit.

Forget Airstream conversions. Heck, forget tour buses! The City of New Orleans's Regional Transit Authority (RTA) ought to buy some of these for its regular bus service, considering how often some parts of the city flood after a thunderstorm!

Ultravan is the name of those cool corvair based motorhomes.
They can have the friendliest face ever!

Here is a listing of a few.

The Ultra Van For Sale Page

I crossed trails with four or so of them last summer in Oregon.
Must have been the national gathering.

That Travco does look neat !

Cheers Richard
