Motorhome Floor Insulation

Has anyone had any success insulating the floor on their Motorhome? My 310 doesn’t have an underbelly, and has zero insulation. I was thinking about stapling some of that reflective bubble wrap stuff under the floor areas. A previous owner used some spray foam in the basement compartments, but the floors are ice cubes when it’s cold.

You are camping in the wrong places....I use the tires to keep warm.

Move to where it’s 75 outside.

But seriously, I replaced carpet in half of mine and doubled the padding. It helped some.

Regards,

JD

I've got my 310 in the subzero polar vortex right now, the floors are about 40 degrees, so I put on slippers

Many have insulated under their floors, I've got 2 inch thick rockwool I'm going to install when I get around to it, others have just used the foil backed foam board from the hardware store with good success.

A quickie method may be to put padding under your carpeting
