Looking to buy an Argosy

Help! I need a 20 ft. Argosy for my coffee-biz-on-wheels idea. Anybody know of any out there?

There's a 24 footer at Berning RV in Ft Wayne, IN. Actually, there's a lot of 24 footers out there.

I didn't ask. We were picking up our new '66 Safari and so didn't think to ask. But I bet it's real reasonable. Hard to tell though. Call them, 260-749-9415. Hope this isn't breaking a forum rule. They did right by us. Tell them that John who bought the Safari sent you.

One more 24' Argosy that i knew of about 3 weeks ago was in Elkhart, IN, going for about $4000. I have their number too, if you want it.

Yes, I really want a 20-footer. And it has to be a motorhome, too--not the trailer type. Any information about such Argosies would be great!

There's a sweet looking argosy motorhome on ebay right now - in quebec - sort of a long way -but you should be prepared to travel to purchase anyway.

here's the link: http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...480919330&rd=1

Hey Janet Husband's:

I'd consider most any Argosy motorhome, as long as it isn't too long. So, 22 or 23 feet long would be the max. length. It doesn't have to be super clean, but it does have to be in fairly good shape and mechanically sound. I live in the midwest, but am willing to travel most anywhere for just the right Argosy. Price range? You tell me.

What else?

There was a 20ft MH in the www.RVtraderonline.com in Depot Bay Oregon. I think they were asking $15k for it.

The Argosy MH's came in 20, 24, 26, and 28 foot lengths. The 20ft unit will have either a Chevy 350 or 454 engine. They are painted as the front and rear caps are galvanized steel and not aluminum.
