Looking for advice roof repair

Hello, iam looking for some advice. I have the opportunity to buy a 1992 land yacht., 36ft with 42000 miles, for less than a $1000!
Here's the thing. Been sitting for at least 2 years and during that time developed a roof leak that nobody caught or cared about. The ceiling is falling down front to back. (Sad ) the drivers side has a couple places where it is puckering out.
Should I run away or is this somthing I could repair? Is it worth it? Are the rafters ( lake of better words) metal, wood, does anyone know? I understand it would be a big undertaking but would still be less that buying one for 10 to 15 thousand. Thanks and thanks for letting me into the group

That water didn't just affect the ceiling. It continued on its journey through the walls and into the floor.

I would expect to find mold and rot through and through.

Actually, no, I wouldn't find all that because I wouldn't get involved.

Frame is aluminum, however, unless you have over $10,000 and hundreds of hours, plus skills, I would run. You get what you pay for, and probably less.

Another consideration:
The front cap where the windshield and dash are has a steel frame that might be completely rusted.
They might have a hard time giving this one away.

Run. Run fast. Major surprises (expenses) ahead if you proceed.
