Land Yacht Inspection in Sun City

I need help to find an Airstream inspector near Sun City, AZ. Last week I bid on a Land Yacht on Ebay, but I'm a newby to owning a RV. I've read through the forums to understand their are members with expertise that will inspect an Airstream and rate its condition and value. I'd like to find such a member.
I was high bidder, and my financial comfort level was much less than the sellers reserve ... I don't mind paying the price if it's a worthwhile motorhome, and being a newby to RVing, having someone inspect the RV seems like good common sense to me. Thanks for your help. Joe Stolfi jsrnfl@gmail.com

This part you are right. but somehow you didn't follow normal sequence, inspect first then bid.

If it turns out good, post, it would be an amazing story.

No inspection and a newbie to motorhomes

Yes, very true, it was a backwards deal. AND I never did find anyone that would inspect the RV, I'm not opposed to paying for the inspection either - perhaps I could have mentioned that?
If an inspector showed up I could call the owner and see if it's still available, but to purchase it outright without an inspection, probably not going to happen.
So thanks DaveFL, now I understand this forum much better.

No, money offered or not is not the problem.
I own a AS MH have been finding stuff out about it for entire the time we have owned it, still not an expert, and wouldn't consider doing an evaluation. Too many systems, and if wrong too many things to go wrong for the new owner. A lot easier to evaluate a trailer, just check age of tires, lift each wheel and spin, apply brakes to see if they work, if hooked up to electric all systems with a switch are testible, manual tank valves can be opened and closed. The easiest test is "Does the owner regret parting with it or happy to see it go". Ebay or buying unseen using an inspector would be a bad idea, the way inspectors are supposed to work is to answer "are the pictures real and would it be worth my time to drive x miles look at it"

An inspection would be in play and in the spirit of eBay to the point of verifying the sellers claims in the ad.

However, the way I see it, barring misrepresentation, a deal is a deal, buyers remorse is not a valid out .

People do misrepresent things, IMO, since you won the trailer, you should go in person planning to pick the trailer up unless it was grossly misrepresented.

If it is grossly misrepresented, it is best to look the seller in the face while you call them out.

You will find someone to go with you to inspect the trailer, you may have to post the request a few times though.
