King of tail slap?
I have always gotten a kick out of one of you mh'ers sig, I think it is Dennis? Something about the ass making a wide swing in a turn? I saw this "S-ome O-ther B-rand" mh sitting not far from the house and am out to see if it has the ultimate tail slap! Geez, it must have a California King bed in the rear, whatdya think?
BTW, is tail slap a good or bad thing??

Wow! I can think of few driveways and parking lots that MH would never make it into! Looks like a Mini Cooper could fit in the back of that thing. Or couple of HD's I wonder if he has to worry about "rear end separation"? Hope his running gear is balanced.

The AS MH's have pretty good ground clearance.
For comparison sake.....

OK Fred,
I definitely think you win as far as tail slap goes!!
Maybe I should rename this thread, how does "king of tail drag" sound to ya?

Trailers, too
I just about had my truck sideswiped by the tail slap of a 34' Airstream at a recent rally. The owner got into a huff when he didn't like the site next to me. He gunned out of there goint the wrong way around the circle and the tail of the trailer missed my truck by a hand breadth. I don't thing he even knew he did it.
He tail slapped a post before he made it around the circle and came back with a gouge near his back bumper. His did know about that one.

I tail slapped a tree and knocked off my sewer pipe. I'll never do that again...either never park very close to something or drive straight out and clear before turning.

The SOB does win, but the A/S looks more like a baseball bat.

FYI - That's not my unit above. It is one from my archives. OK, mine looks very very similar to that one! Of course all 345's are basically the same!

Tail "slapping" is always a no-no.
One form of it results in considerable damage to the back end of the trailer, or motorhome, that will cost big bucks to fix.
The other kind may result in a huge dental bill, after slapping the tail, they get a return slap, but in the face.

Yea. Personal experince.
But that was a part of being a teenager.
Most of us have been there and done that.
But today, lookout guys, it's become a two way street!!!!!!!
Damn, to be young again.
Oh well, I will let our new generation tell me about it.
Now if we could only get the new generation to quit using the "f---" word, our society would improve at least 50 percent, overnight.
Not a prude, but some types of language or expressions, arn't necessary to make a point.
