Just for Fred

Fred, since your speedometer is broken, I thought you would appreciate this picture. Just print this picture, cut out the speedometer and glue it to yours.

Life in the Fred zone!

That is so limiting! Yuck! That reminds me of an old 1960's car my dad had with a little alarm that would go off when you hit an adjustable limit. Buzzzzzzzzz!

A few years ago, I took a similar picture while on a trip to the boundary waters. My father and I had rented a car in Canada and drove it from Thunder Bay to our put in point. My wife didn't appreciate the fact that I was doing 100+ until I pointed out that it was Km not MPH!

It was a fun picture until I got into trouble!

Whoops!

Are looking at the photo (and the above post), I guess I got the guages mixed up.

I thought the tach was a speedometer that red-lined at 65 mph. It makes more sense now! Too much chocolate over the holidays.

OT autobahn story. While visiting Germany on a family trip, my dad asked the hotel clerk how long it took to get to a certain town. The clerk's reply was two hours. Four and a half hours later our rental VW bus arrived at an average speed of 65 MPH. I wonder how fast he drove?

Fred, I thought you meant the 260 was limiting.
That just shows you that even though you misunderstood the picture, your reply still made sense to me.

Scary is the GMC motorhome guys trying to set a land speed record for a motorhome!

I wonder if it has to have a functional kitchen, bath, and bedroom to qualify for the record? Of course they may need that speedometer above to see how fast they are going!
