I've had that problem with large posts in a number of web-based forums. At first I was highlighting everything I typed to copy it to the clipboard in case that happened and I could just paste it in another post. But I kept forgetting to do that, so now I compose longer posts in Notepad, and copy and paste them into the reply window.

Unhappy I hate it when that happens!

Sometimes when I'm afraid it may time-out on me because my post is too long, I have gone ahead and posted the message half-way through. Then I go back into it and edit it...either for additional content or sometimes just for spelling...just an idea that may help.

Another suggestion to keep from re-typing your longer posts is to copy the content (Highlight it then "control - C") before you submit it so if it has timed out you can just paste ("control - V") the content into a new post...make sense?

Another reason it may lose your tying is if you attach a photo that is too big.

Hang in there...

Shari

It has happened to me as well. The system does "forget" you are there after some period of time.

I remember once, and you will get a big laugh out of this, that I was

Don't mess up!

I've been blown out by merely hitting the backspace to correct something! VERY frustrating!
