Electric meter

I am looking for a portable electric meter to carry in our motorhome. This would plug into a 30 amp receptacle and our 30 amp motorhome service cord would plug into it. This is to keep track of our power usage when plugged into a hosts service so that we may offer to reimburse them for our power usage.

Power meter.

By the time you got boxes, recptacles, etc. it would be cheaper to just offer a buck or two a day. You could stay for a couple of months on what you invest in the meter.

The power meter is just the beginning....... There will be needed a metal box for meter to plug into, which is meter base, power cord for both in and out, female and male cord ends to match requirements.

Here is Idaho the electric rate is about $0.06 per KW... 1000 watts. A dollar will buy about 16KW.

Some places are very different with rates approaching $0.12 per KW...

Some RV places charge $1-1.50 per day.

that one would work fine... they are rated for 60 amps. i have one just like it hooked up to a lamp in my living room.
