Gubernatorial Candiate using an Airstream

at least I think he is....check out the tv add. The first one on the list...(only 30 seconds of the usual "I'm for better wages/lower taxes/better schools bs). http://www.robertreich.org/gov/videos.asp

looks like an Argosy painted bright blue.

definitely an argosy, you can even see the red argosy lettering in the final shot. the other give-away is the bus windows along the roof, the airstreams never got those

looks to be a 27' center bath model.

very cool!! Not too wild about the painted blue...but the next owner can always repaint it.

Check out "This Whole Bus". I think the shots of the Argosy are better. It's got dual headlights so it's a 77-79.

I'll have to work on some stills for my web-site. Al Gore wouldn't be caught dead in something that gets 7mpg!

My guess is a 28' Argosy. Possibly a 26' based on the wrap around windows but I don't know if they made 26' from 77-79.

That's a hoot!

Fred,

No 26 ft in 77-78. Based on the roadside rear windows it is a rear twin with a center bath. In 77-78 the only model in my service manual that available with a center bath was a 28.
