Front Coil Springs on 345

Hello
I'm working on my MO and see that one of the front air bags is not holding air.
Is anyone just running new coil springs with more spring weight rating.
And no front air bags.
I found this from a old post.

In the video Vintage Airstream Classic Motorhome Factory
At 6:59 in the Video you can see the front of the MO is way up in the air.
Unlike what I see on my MO. I know it's got miles and 30 years on it.
Can I get my MO back up in the air.

I don't think the front air bags gives lift just holding the ride height when it gets filled with people and gear.

Has anyone gone down this path with new coils and no air bags.
And what coils did you get. Weight rate.

Thanks Hans

Check the fittings and hoses before you blame the air bags.
Replacing the air bags is a pain but cheaper and easier than the springs.
If you think your springs are soft and will replace them, put in new air bags too.
They do not add much to the height, but they do dampen a bumpy ride.

Original Coils spring and no hose on the air bags just the air valve.
I have to measure the front control arms to see what the height is.
What coil spring do I use. Not into the low ride.
Looking up Coil springs for replacement has a lot of options.
I'm ok with putting new air bags in to help with the ride.

Supersteer has good quality replacement parts for our p30 chassis's.

From what I have read the chevy plant used generic springs regarding weight so one size fits all approach is very flawed.

When I get the money to do my front end I will be using their products.

Both of ours (310 and 345) came to us with no front air bags. Sorry I can't tell you where the heavier springs came from, but both have some other Supersteer parts on the front end.

It’s all there on the site. Supersteer coils or new bags with tubing and valve
I’ve fitted the front bags. You knacker you hands but it’s just fiddly. Google the site and you’ll find instructions and tips.

Thank you all for your help.

I think the #6560 coil spring will be the one to use with out the air bag.
#6560S is if you have some extra weight on the front bumper cow catcher big winch.
And you can use the air bags if you like.

All the front coils will get the front up to the right ride height.
Measuring the gap from the bump stop up should be 1 3/4 to 2 1/2 inches.
This is on the lower control arm.
