Well... My family and I are new RV'ers and recently became proud owners of a 1995 Airstream Land Yacht. Our first motorhome. We have been on two trips thus far, one weekend excursion and a week long spring break vacation. We love our Airstream and really enjoy RVing.

As a newby we have lots of questions:

Is there an Airstream Rally in Texas or the Southwest?
We would like to meet other Airstream owners.

What is the best source for maintenance and repair information?
Our RV is in great shape now and we want to keep it that way.

Are there any other 1995 land Yacht owners in this forum?

What are some of the best places to visit in the Southwest?

Answers to any or all of these questions would be most appreciated.

Thank you.

Thumbs up

Welcome to our friendly Airstream community. You will find much info shared here amongst fellow owners, especially if you browse the Motorhome area. Also the sister site AirstreamPhotos.com has some great stuff to view.
We are scattered across the US and beyond, so I personally don't know of any rallies out your way, other than the nationwide Rapid City S.D. one, and our Western Florida motorhomers rally which is too far for you to attend. There will probably be posts from those closer to you.
Meanwhile thanks for jumping onboard.

Thank you for the warm welcome and reply. I have spent the morning reading many of the threads in the forum. What a great exchange of information by generous people.

Thanks again

Your best bet is to contact the WBCCI. There are many rallies going on in Texas and the southwest.

Here is a link to the rally portion of their site:

http://www.wbcci.org/Caravans.asp

You would more than likely be in region 9.

You can get a 1 year free membership as a new owner in WBCCI if you like.

Happy motor homing!!

Thank You Brett. I just discovered the site this morning and was reviewing it when I got notice of your response. We are going to join Region 9. Thank you very much.

Man, and I had to pay for my first year. But at least they did let me keep the numbers that were already on my Motorhome.
