Classic Diesels for sale

On RVTraderOnline.com

1995 36' $89,000
1994 36' $79,900

It's rare you see these at all much less two for sale at the same time! Oh those prices!

and both at the same dealer. Wonder why there is a $10K difference they are only a year apart?

didnt ask . i put a deposit on the 95diesel and the wife was a bit ticked that we were not getting out of a airstream classic the classic dont have squat for storage, blab blab, blab, blab. to make a long story short i made a salesman at lazy days cry. when i broke the news. was 24 hours from picking it up. had to take the check back to the bank. they made me a deal i couldnt refuse they didnt convince the wife. im suipprised it has sit that long. so my wife loves the silver wennie its payed for and i can work on it if i can find parts. a really nice unit...

wb,
Did you see the 95 in person? Why did you prefer the 95 to the 94? And if I may, what kind of deal are they asking? luke

There could be an engine difference. My notes indicate that a 190hp and 230hp engines were available in 1994. I think the 1995 year had only the 230hp engine.

Obviously there is one model year difference and possibly wear and tear. The two units should be fairly close.

Why don't you just call the dealer?

Thanks for the info, that would be easy enough to do, I was just looking for an idea without going through the sales pitch. luke

lazy days only had the 95 when i looked for a different motor home. as for asking price it is just that.. i use kbb.com to determine what a unit is worth.
they came in below the blue book figure. when i put a contract on it it had been at the dealership two days. i could not beleive my wife got all up tight about the deal. didnt want another classic wanted a holiday rambler like the neighbor has. guess we will keep the silver weenie.
the unit has a contract on it now, so it is probably not available. a friend of mine was really intrested in the unit . i called him and told him what i was offered and if interested call . havent heard from him. he has been looking for that unit for a couple of years and he has bucks.
dont know anything about the 94, if interested negociate a price they want to sell these units now.
