On Sat., March 22, while traveling on I-75 from Chatt., Tenn. to Atlanta, GA.; I counted 8 streamers heading North. And on Sun. 30, on the same route, 5 more taking flight to the North. I was looking for the V-patterns but all seem to be going it alone. I plan to pull mine to the North Ga. Mtns. next weekend.

Levon I had looked at you photos several times but didn't know I was local to you. I actually know where Bogart is LOL.

So where in North GA are you putting it?

Back to topic I saw a TT 1/4 mile from my house. It was turning and I didn't have time to chase and wasn't close enough to get any numbers. I'm gussing it was 29-31ft (I'm still learning LOL). Had a rack hanging off the rear bumper. Looked to be early 80's.

Also on my travels I spotted one for sale of I20. It was packed between a couple SOB's at a lot. My guess is it was around 25ft. Headed East is on the southside of 20 off a access road between hwy 278 and Alamon exits. smitigg you know about this one?

Santa Barbara, CA

We have been staying in Santa Barbara, CA since late December being grandparents to a new granddaughter. We have seen quite a few classic Airstream trailers here at the park (not an Airstream only park) staying a few days at a time. There have been a couple of Cutters here but we are the only classic Airstream motorhome. There is only one privately owned RV park in Santa Barbara so they have to stay here or on the beach.
The only classic Airstream motorhome we were in the same park with was in San Antonio, TX last November; WBCCI members from Mission, TX.

It is true though that so few mh are seen on the road.

Happy travels Howard and Ann

If you were at Equine Affaire in Columbus, Ohio last weekend, you would have seen mine, a 34 Limited from PA, and a tri-axle Avion. On the trip home we stopped at Camping World in Brunswick, Ohio, and saw a late model Airstream motor home, (white box).

another airstream

at 6:30a saw an airstream from Fl. Heading north on I-75
the numbers had been taken off but the residue was 8754.
towed by a blazer(s-10) I think.
looked be from the early 60's from pictures I have seen from that era.
Looked like it was about 18' long and no dents on rear and roadside.

This is an older thread that I think I read way back when....looking at the title of the thread: Are Airstreams Invisible"?

I just read something about a Buffalo ramming and Airstream at a park out west and causing $10k in damage.

Might be invisible to people, but doesn't look like it to Buffalo at least!

I drove down from Sacramento, CA to Pomona, CA last week and must have seen an Airstream under tow every 50 miles or so. There's one parked off Hwy 99 South bound before Fresno, CA that the front portion was wiped out. I was on a tight schedule, otherwise I would have stopped to see what happened.

Thumbs up Traveling Man

Sometime they just pop into view.

April 20th,
While traveling west on I-84 thru NY, spotted what looked to be a Classic A/S motor home. Shortly afterwards, there were two A/S trailers heading East.
April 21st,
Another Classic A/S motor home heading North bound on I-81 was sighted.
While heading across the Chesapeake Bay Bridge Tunnel, took a break at the fishing pier turn off and, spotted a nice Bambi.
Met the couple, who were returning from a trip to FL and, were heading north to their home in NJ. Chesapeake Bay Bridge Tunnel

Total A/S spotted while on the trip had to be around six or seven.

ciao
