Airstream Motorhome 24'

Hi

I wonder if anyone can help we are looking to buy a 24' Airstream motorhome.

Always check the classifieds on here (I have tried to post this in classifieds but it did not let me, if this could be moved that would be great, thank you).

I know there were not to many made so it will not be easy, we found one but it's in Florida and that's a bit to far to go from California.

Well.. Here is one in Georgia.. That is a few miles closer than Florida...

You should understand that market for used Airstream Motorhomes in general is very small, and national in scope.. People WILL travel thousands of miles or arrange to buy one across the country if it is what they are looking for at fair price..

You can ask for members here near a unit to look at it, you can ask seller to take to dealer for inspection, or you can do as much due diligence as possible and roll the dice, with an escape clause if is really a mess.. OR... You could expand search to slightly longer or other models... While not impossible, odds of one in condition you want popping up near you soon are very slim....

Understand what you say about the need to travel.. Just something we need to get used to as we come from the UK which is very very small..

We were hoping to buy in CA but when we found one in Florida and realized how few there are, we opted to have it transported on a flat bed. Hope to receive it on Monday. It is so rare that Jackson Center has no record of building a 1982 24' MH. They think it might be a center bath Argosy...it is not.

There is a 25' here in Santa Monica on the classifieds.....wish I had seen it. paula

I also don't have possession of our new MH....maybe tomorrow or Wed but if you look at the thread "Need to get a MH from fl to ca options" you can see a few.
