Excellent

Great for those quick runs to the beach for the night or any short stay.

Got to love america engineering or should I say, german engineering!!!!!

Where?

I know it must be crude..... but it's so cute! I want it! John, where did you find it? Is that an old Bambi? Wonder what it's like in a crosswind?

Nice!

Very, very high "Cool" factor. I saw a 20ft Argosy at an Airstream get together a number of years ago. Polished and painted like an Airstream it was a show stopper. It would be great to see someone convert a Bambie or a short Caravel into a motor home. Great find, keep the forum posted about this unusual vehicle.

Inside out

Man it is killing me to know what the iside looks like.

The windshield appears to be very high. I am wondering what the seats looks like. I am envisioning Bar stools

Could you post some of the interior shots? I loomed on the VAC pages and found the listing but no photos.

It looks it was originally something close to the 1948 model (Liner?) that the Cooper couple had at the vintage rally here.

There is a pic of it on the vintage rally thread that either Pahaska or PeterMH posted. The rear window looks exactly the same.

That must have been one handy hippie or whoever built it.

The seats could be stand ups, sorta like what you used to see in old Divco milk trucks, my dad had a Harrington-Marmon Delivrall that had something like bicycle seats in it, hand controls as well if I remember correctly. doubt if any of it would be legal today.
