Question AI Electrical Issue Using Trailer Plug

I have a 2014 1/2 Airstream Interstate equipped with Blind Spot Assistance. I just added a Stow Away 2 Cargo Carrier that mounts into the AI receiver hitch. The StowAway 2 has a 4 pin plug that requires an adapter to connect to the 7 pin round AI Trailer Plug in outlet.
After connecting, all works fine until the engine is started and the brake pedal is used. When the brake pedal is first applied the Blind spot Assistance (BSA) is deactivated and remains deactivated while driving even if the BSA Reactivation dash button is pressed. If I unplug the StowAway Unit's 4 pin adapter the BSA works fine even with the StowAway Unit still in place.
I had an RV Repair Center look at it but the say that Mercedes is a different animal when it comes to wiring and could not help ( we are on a 5_6 week road trip).
Any thoughts? Thanks for listening!
