Question '86 345 AS MH Interior Molding

In my 86 345 AS MH, the plastic molding between the front roof over the driving area and the roof over the living area where they join together, the molding is cracked due to some pop rivets that have come loose and pushed thru. Is there a source for this molding and how is it removed? This molding is approx. 1/2" to 3/4" wide, running from the drivers side, up overhead and down to the passenger side. It looks like the molding is attached to a metal rail that is pop riveted ( these are the ones that have came loose) to the overhead. Thanks for any input on this project. Jim

I am not exactly sure what yours looks like, I have been using this on window, door, and panel edges.

Jim,
Mine did the same thing. I"ve removed it during my interior remodelling. It's a black plastic cap that fits over an aluminum strip that's pop riveted to the ribs.

I don't know where you would get this on the aftermarket since it's so specific. Perhaps you could try Airstream.

I removed mine my drilling out the pop rivets. I plan to replace it with a simple aluminum 3/4" wide extrusion and just pop rivet it back into place.
