Thumbs up '83 310 Classic

I went and looked at the 1983 310 B today and just could not pass it up. Island bed in rear, ice maker, built in blender, microwave, 8 new Michlens, extra set large wheelcovers. All bedding, pots and pans, jacks, on and on. You could crank it up and head to Alaska, everything there. Engine running a little rich so owner knocked off $ 700 for tuneup. Inside immaculate outside 9 out of 10. Just too good to be true. 16,000 on rebuilt engine at 100,00 so probably well maintained. I get up and go look just to be sure its there and hope I don't wake from a dream. All in all a rich, rewarding day. I did notice a small leak under driver side, looks like power steering linkage or maybe even hose. Now if my next door neighbor will buy my trailer ! I am truely a happer camper..... Bill

Good move, Bill. I share your exitement.
I found that the rubber return lines of the power steering pump get so hard, the clamp will not keep it tight. It's a bit of a pain to get to.

Excellent move! Those new Michlens alone are worth $1600. I still go out to the garage and sit in mine, even after 5 months. Post some Pictures.

Congrats Bill sounds like you found a nice one, woohoo!

Extra ice maker and built in blenders = the true margarita mobile.

Sorry can't help you with the switch location Smooth Neil ,

But a friend in your area is thinking of getting just such a rig as your, as he approaches retirement, drop me a pm if you think of selling after a while.
He is still a year or two out, but is looking.

Cheers Richard
