'81 MH door interior panel?

There are two horizontal tracks made of plastic about 1.5 feet apart on the inside of my MH door. There is nothing slid into these. What was this for? I imagine it could have been a decorative piece of wall carpeting as on the wall next to the fridge. Am I right? They are riveted on, so I think it may be original. I don't think the PO added much to the MH.

a response, but no help

I looked in my manual for 1984 and could find nothing like you describe. The manual is for the 25,28, and 31 footers. Best of luck..jem

I have the same model as you and I dont see them in mine. Perhaps a PO mod.

Yes, most likely an add on. I've seen several others and they don't have this 'feature'. Thanks for your replies.
