Question 1986 345 MH H2O Reel

I hope I am not abusing this forum too much but I have another question. On replacing the hose on the water reel, the male end of the hose looks as if it just screws into the female connection of the reel but there is only a small opening to get to this connection. How does one tighten the hose in this connection? Do you just take the hose and turn it into this connection and if so will this get it tight? Is it good for 50' of hose? Hope someone has gone thru this process already and has an easy way. Thanks for any help that anyone may have. Jim

Brett,
Looks like a poor design on replacing the hose with ease. I agree that it needs some way to easily access the fitting for tightening up so I may need to follow the lead. Aggravating!!!!! Anyone else that has tackled this? This should have been an easy job!!! Thanks, Brett. Jim
