I have always liked the Progressive Dynamics PD 92xx series. The one which would probably be best for you would be the 9260 (60 amps) but a 9245 (45 amps) would probably work. Since you have a good sized built in generator, if it were mine, I would go with the 9260. The battery capacity of your 345 is probably two type 27's or 29's and much more charging capacity could be to fast an initial recharge for them, so I would not go larger. The charge tapers off pretty fast, so the absorption rate is usually under 40 amps, that is why I say even a 9245 would work for you.
There are other options (manufacturers) and many will recommend talking to Randy at Best Converters for his opinion.

Yes, it is a smart charger and a very good one at that.

I just installed a PD 9260, took less than 30 mins to install since my 12volt breaker panel And wiring is still in great shape.
No more voltage dips and my fans and water pump seem to run better.
About 1/3 of the weight of the Magnetek boat anchor.

Based on Brad's recommendation, I just replaced mine with the Progressive Dynamics unit. I went with the 45 amp version since my unit isn't that big and I only have one house battery.

We installed the Progressive Dynamics PD9245 in our 345 MH. It worked out well as we fulltimed for 2 years after replacing. We just mounted it inside the power distribution box that the old one was in. Here's a link.

I also was looking to replace mine as well. Spoke with 3 Dog Nite a while back about his replacing the converter/inverter part of his Energenius.
Just spoke to Randy and he suggested the Powermax Boondocker for my 350. Thanks tot he great pics posted by 3 Dog Night and the model he got, I was able to extrapolate and see that Boondocker would fit.
Since I was at it I also picked up the trimetric battery system monitor. I liked the fact that I can get the data on the house batts as well s a volt reading on the starting battery.... The panel installed is about useless. Actually it is worse then useless since it leads you to assume it is even remotely accurate.
Hopefully I can install it on the rainy days that I can't be doing other stuff in/on the MoHo.
