100 PSI or 70 PSI? '92 300LE

Dealer put 100 PSI everywhere and the coach is trying to rattle itself to death. Bridgestone 19.5 duals in back say max load at 110, Michelins in front say max load at 90, manual says 60 in rear...70 in front. What does experience say??

Most of the Airstream classic MH's have 75 psi in the front and 60 psi in the rear tires. Anything higher than that is a rough ride in my 345.

tire pressure is a big question. i run 80 in the rear and 85 in the front . rides good. but i had my tires trued as they were out of round. the front tires were goodyear G195 8R19.5 BRAND NEW BOTH OUT OF ROUND. i dont know if there is a shop near you but that could check your tires . but i would bet your problems is out of round. and probably out of balance. i put the centri matic tire balancing units on my coach (sold by camping world) and it dont viberate at all. lol

Hi, I also have a 92 300LE My manual say 70 f 60 r also. That's how I am gonna run em till I hear some better advice.

Refer to the tire psi rating range instead of the motorhome manual. Usual 10-15 pound or less than the max rating is a good starting place. Ride, fuel economy, and tire life are other factors. More importantly check tire pressure on a regular interval.

I do not agree that picking some arbitrary amount less than tires max pressure is a good way to do it.

Tire manufacturers publish charts for their tires. It gives the appropriate pressure for various weight loads.

The first thing to do is weigh the vehicle configured as it is going to be used. Then find the appropiate pressure for that weight load in the tire manufacturer's specs . Then use that pressure in your tires.
