Shower pan / tub Material

Hey guys,

I know this is probably obvious, but what is the shower / tub made of? Is it fiberglass? I'm looking to repair / refinish it.

Thanks,

Keith

You know, I've been wondering the same thing. Mines a '65, but it has a tiny hole in it.

Our '64 is fiberglass. If you look on the backside (we can from inside our rear compartment) you can see the fibers to confirm.

Repaired mine with an automotive fiberglass kit from Home Depot. There is a great epoxy paint called "Tile Doc" at Sherwin Williams that you can coat it with when you are done with the repair.
