Welcome to the forums.
I would like to encourage you to learn to use the search function. Much, if not all, the topics you will run into are likely already covered in detail somewhere in the belly of this great resource.
And, with a little common sense and open mind, your project will be fun and rewarding. The medium/small size of the FC and the vinage of it makes refurbishment easy and fun.
You will have to decide if you want to keep it original, or if it will have to be updated/modernized to meet your needs. So, asessment of your own preferences should come first.
Take pictures, and pst them if you can. There's nothing that gets you more responses than pictures with your posts. Plus, you will have a great documentary of your progress over time. I started my renovation thread 18 month ago, and am just now nearing completion of the project. ( a 63 for me, is the name of the thread)
Best wishes for your project!

Smile 1962 Flying Cloud

Hi,
I have been working on mine for 10 years off and on. All the big things work; AC, hot water, toilet, all lights, gas and no exterior or interior leaks. I just painted the interior and am getting ready to do the curtains.
