Tires for Bambi II

It was recommended to me to run Michelin Harmony tires in 215/70/R14, but those are no longer manufactured. There are tons of tire threads on the forums...but I was wondering what my Bambi II friends are running?

The rub currently is finding 14" tires. Not much out there anymore- wheels have gotten bigger the past several years.

I am looking at 215/70/R14 LT (light truck) tires in other brands, but again was wondering what all of you are using. I run Carlisle ST (special trailer) tires on my small Scotty with no problems, but Airstreamers are apparently not too thrilled about ST tires.

Please let me know if you get a chance- thanks!

Ben

I have 2 season 10k miles on kumho 857 14in tire. Wear has been very good

Not many choices for 14in tires besides ST.

Using ST's on mine but have only put 900 miles on them. So far so good.

Your link works great, but I cannot find prices. This is an option I have never heard of before. Thank you!

What size are you running exactly? I am told by Tire Rack that they come in 185/14, 195/14, and a 205/14.

Check out Yokahama Super Van 356 LT 195/75-14. They were designed for small light trucks & are made in Japan, not China. I forget the load rating, but more than enough for a Babmbi. We use them on Bambi 11's. I buy them through Tire Rack.com

Thanks Colin. I ordered a pair today...but they are on back-order form Yokohama. A Tire Rack employee called and let me know. He said late July or early August...we are hoping this is accurate as we plan to take the AS out in mid August for the first time!
