Planning to buy a 64 Bambi II in unrestored condition. It appears to have a front dinette but everything I have seen on these trailers shows a gaucho/couch in this location. Does anyone know if AS ever offered this model with a front dinette? It was #33 built in CA.
My Bambi II has the front dinette. I have seen at last 4 different interior layouts that were available from the factory. Different furniture, appliances, electrical and plumbing seemed to be used. In my opinion the Bambi II was the test bed for the Caravel. Personally I think they did a much better job of interior layout with the Caravel. Many Bambi IIs have been rebuilt in one form or another and it can be hard to determine what is original and what is not.
