I imagine the difference is between a California Bambi II owned by "Bambi's Dad" and an Ohio built Bambi II (which I imagine is where yours was built) for an uncertain period of time. California just used 3 short windows to do the job of the two longer windows that may not have been in stock that week. If you put those 2 trailers side by side, you'd be amazed at the number of differences in construction and parts. The front windows look to be of different heights, and the angle of the "A" frames under the propane tanks also looks different (narrower on the Calif. Bambi II than your Ohio one).
Everytime we get together at a Rally, Shari & Rob and I find "new" differences between their Califorinia built
1964 19' Globe Trotter and my Ohio built
1964 19' Globe Trotter. We toast the differences and have never left a Rally thirsty.
