Damn girl, I feel like I'm back in the eighties. And he must be a very manly man to agree with pink

I think that's great for the campground, even if your drunk you'll be able to find your trailer . Might want to reconsider it " on the road". Your Bambi Is going to get enough attention on its own, you don't want to get rear ended by someone wanting a closer look!

Can he make them pulse?

Oh Becky, that is so spot on! And the pink just makes it! You are fortunate that you could find the pink, how unique. I've seen the blue and liked it for under the trailah, but I've not seen the pink, but then, I haven't been looking either.

Shelves are looking great too!

Deb

Well, he'd never WEAR pink, so ya....he's a manly man! He keeps saying it's not his trailer, so it can be pink! And, no, they won't pulse. But that's probably a good thing. If I ever DO have to find it in the campground after being over-served, the pulsing would probably make me lose my cookies!!!

I finished my shelves that wrap around the refrigerator vent. I pretty much replicated David Winick's idea here, so thanks, David! Next thing to figure out will be the closet.

Great job!!

Did you settle on the hooks?

Someday, I may copy this, but I'm not sure about the pink LEDs in the avatar.

I did settle on the hooks that Tim A. helped me find:

Perko 1249DP0CHR Latching Utility Hook*-*Perko*1249DP0CHR - Utility Hooks - Marine Hardware - Galley/Cabin - Boatersland Marine

I used them on the bottom shelf, because they were too small to hold a mug. For that I used these:

I got them at Lowes. They have a latch that should hold the mugs on while traveling (but I'm not sure if I'm brave enough to do it because if one falls off, it'll smash my cover to the stove!) They're turned backward so you can't see the latch.

Coward about the PINK!!

I love those shelves too! I am thinking of building some of those for our Caravel when I get to that point in our restoration. I have the Winick book and have loved those since the first time I saw them. Great job!

I guess I can throw away this picture of the Bambi II that inspired me for the last couple of years! It has been on my fridge & in the trailer for the whole project!. Thanks! To whomever owns this beauty!

Becky:

Can you talk a little more about the LED installation underneath the trailer? Did you run the full length, down the center, one on each side? Were they strips, or multiple individual lights? Where did you put your on/off button? There's some really cool LED products out there. I was thinking of getting a strip or 2 of the multicolored ones and let it cycle through the colors as I'm driving. Although, that may be illegal in some states. Not illegal if it's just parked.

Thanks!

Rob.

The LED lights were run down both sides, with the wired end at the front of the trailer. When my husband did the wiring, he ran a wire from the fuse box up to the front (when he & my son made the frame). You could take power from the emergency brake. I found the lights on Amazon in 5M rolls that had adhesive on the back & are waterproof. They started to fall off almost immediately, so he reinforced the glue with 3M gasket glue (every person who has rebuilt gaskets will have some of that!!) So it's recommended to just put that on from the get go. He got the on/off button at Auto Zone (it's the pull type) It's mounted on the A-frame, underneath--so it's protected from the rain & small children!!

I just ordered a strip for inside my closet. $5.85 shipped from China for a roll of white lights that's 5M long!

I saw the multi-colored lights with the remote....pretty cool! We were a little afraid of the electronics being out in the weather since they didn't say the were waterproof. Maybe you can find some that are!

Becky- how many BTUs is your AC unit rated for? Lynn and I are hoping to score one here at end of season...even though I am not ready for it yet.

Thanks! Ben

It's 10,000 but casement window unit. Keeps it plenty cool. Good idea to look for the sales!
