Polishing continues (maybe forever)

I've been doing some polishing this week. That's coming to a screeching halt due to our greenhouses opening tomorrow. But, maybe I can squeek a little in each week. I've got the front end rough cut finished. Lots of corrosion on this little gal! (not me....ok maybe me too) My big Sovereign is going to her new home next week. That's one less polish job for me. Can't say I'll miss that part of her!Click image for larger version

Becky we are working on our 66 caravel tear down and are looking towards the rebuild and were wanting to know if you had tried your shower yet and if so how is that drain you put in working? I do not want to reinstall a dog dish cover for the j trap but am not sure about how the drain that you put in is working. Thank you in advance for your help.

We haven't actually gone camping in her yet, but have tested the plumbing. We also have one in the galley. Both seem to be operating just fine. There is another member by the name of Toasty who, I think, also used this type of trap. Maybe you can look him up. Here's a picture of how my hubby plumbed the shower:Click image for larger version

The Bambi II took its first trip out of the yard in 2 years today. We went to the local tire place & got new tires.Click image for larger version

Believe it or not, it was too HOT to polish today. Our weather is so weird!

My kids gave me this whirlpool .5 c.f. Microwave for Mothers Day. Not sure whether it'll stay next to the sink or on the rear counter, but its nice! Fits a dinner plate, but is taller than wider itch a rounded back ( I guess for fitting in corners)

It just rained here & washed off all the pollen that collected all over the top of the trailer. I've never seen so much pollen! I've finished the very top of the trailer & have the endcaps finished up to Nuvite F9. The curbside rear endcap is sanded & ready to be F9'd (just in case anyone wants to see what it looks like after sanding with 600 grit wet sanding & burgundy metal scotchbrite pad). So, I just have to sand the streetside bottom & the rear bottom before that nasty part is finished. Till next week.....

You can't know how relieved I am to never have to polish a 31' trailer again....it's a lot of work! We bought a 30' Avion for the guys to use while hunting & me to take for a couple weeks with my family. Can't polish that baby! The little Bambi will be like a walk in the park once I'm finished with the initial polish. I can only get in my one day off for polishing right now. My house is really falling into shambles!

It's a 1984 Avion, so unless I spray oven cleaner all over it to get the anodized finish off, it won't be polished! I have seen one like this one polished, but that won't be happening here. And the frame is good too! No rear separation on that tank!
