This is how I handled the closet door in the back:

The bottom panel will have the aluminum screen like the door by the a/c and will be removable. The big door will have wood panels in it and has a piano hing so you can still get in the closet without having to step in the bathroom first! It'll also serve as a privacy door when getting dressed in the back of the trailer. Now for lots of sanding & varnishing and the end of cabinets is in sight!! I can't wait to clean my shop of all the dust as well as my basement, which has a thick covering of dust!

Thanks! I just got my magnets today--not sure if they're gonna work, but I'll find something to use them on!

It's looking incredible!

Can you have a conversation with Marie about woodworking? She is totally willing to tackle almost any project with me, everything from pouring concrete to polishing metal, but I can't get her to catch the woodworking bug. What's the trick?

Thanks, Peter! Well, the trick to my doing woodworking dates waaay back to when my dad had a hardware store. I used to make boats for in the tub out of two by fours & nails (and never wanted him to help me!) My mom was a very talented quilter & my dad could make just about anything, so I come by it kind of naturally. I don't think you can make her have an interest in it unless she wants to do it! Kinda like how I feel about knitting! NOT!

Great solution to your door problem Becky. It's been fun following your progress and the story of your little trailer, from being stuck and neglected in the back woods and headed for the scrap yard to being better and nicer then she ever has been!

After 4 years of working on our Cruiser it is nice to finally clean up all the piles of wood, metal and miscellaneous new and old parts!
I don't like knitting either!

Today I was to tool girl for my DH. Click image for larger version

ID:	179084 He installed the plumbing vent stacks, the toilet, and the fan to keep air circulating when the a/c is on. He reinvented the vent stack in the rear, since it was right through the window originally. Pretty proud of that puppy! I think it looks much better now! Click image for larger version

Got the bottom cabinet doors hung this afternoon.
I'm getting too old to be rolling around on the floor! I think I need some ibuprofen!

I AM FINISHED WITH CABINETS!!!! Hung the closet door & the removable panel below it tonight. Just have to put a handle on the door. There are little putzy things I have to do, but that's all easy to do in little spurts. I also had two good offers on my dear Sovereign today, so all in all it was a good day!Click image for larger version
