Bambi II folding table question

This is the original folding table that came with our B II. We've replaced the top to match the counter as did the original. Do any of you Vintage Airstream owners have a similar table? Is there supposed to be a place to store it? Otherwise it will go in the back of the pickup. It's handy as we will use it indoors and out.

Your table is different from mine.

I've owned my 64 Bambi II since 1984. My table is supported by two 3" poles.
The table is stored by standing up in the back of the closet. It snaps in place.

Original '64 Table

You have the original table from the Bambi2. I believe the table was also used in other models in 1964. I have found the table to be very useful outside of the Bambi2 but it is to large to set up inside and even more difficult to store. We have found that TV trays work well in front of the couches and store well in the back closet.

This is my table, attaches to the wall with two hooks and has a single leg. It will fold down to be flush with the wall or drop down to make the base for the other cushions, making a bed. I do not know if it is the origional table or not. I do believe that this is the origional layout of the interior according to a couple of old pictures that came with the trailer when I bought it.

More table info

I just checked my 64 BAMBI II manual and it shows a bolster where your kitchen table is.
Our unit has a front couch that, after pulling out on the lip under the cushions, turns into a bed. The back cushion folds down as part of the sleeping area. It works the same as the couch in front of the stove and refrig.
Our kitchen table is between the two couches.
Michael, I like your pictures. You have a good looking unit. Our units are identical except for the front area. We also replaced the linolium floor with laminate floor.
