Cold!

Thanks, Susan.

We aren't far from you. We just ran down I-85, then I-65 to Mobile to avoid the freezing weather. Looks like we won't be successful. It's freezing in Southern Alabama! Literally -- they're forecasting 29 tonight.

We ran all the way here from Connecticut and we're finding the same weather.

Weird.

Good luck with your '62.

John

John, How's the Wave 6 holding up in that freezing weather?

Wave 6

Sheridan-

The State Parks in Georgia and Alabama have all had electricity so far. Except for one night, we've been using a small 1500 watt electric heater. That night, it was about 37 degrees and we were good and warm on medium.

This bunk hangs from hooks like yours via cables and attaches to the wall through hooks that insert into the side rail of the bunk.

A Marcus sighting

Today's our last day in Austin and we had a famous visitor. Marcus (utee94) stopped by with a beer, as promised. OK, more than one.

We talked for almost 3 hours and it went by very quickly. He has a serious case of aluminitis!

I hope we see each other down the road again. Good times.

Thanks John, I had a great time chatting with you and your lovely bride. The time definitely flew by too quickly. I sure hope we get another chance to catch up, down the road. Perhaps the 2011 BB at Bakers' Acres!

John's done such a great job with his trailer. For anyone who gets a chance, be sure to check it out. The pictures on this thread don't do justice to the beauty of the woodwork.

In CT

Rae-

We're home now and plan to be here until sometime in August. We've had more than one forum member over for a visit and would be glad to have you stop by.

2010 Season Wrapup

There were many days during the renovation when we questioned whether it was worth it. It was!

After about 100 days on the road this year, we were so happy with our choice to restore Tumbleweed.

See the adventures of tumbleweed

I'll try to review the good, the bad and the ugly later this fall. Right now, we have a newborn, healthy granddaughter to enjoy!

John
