Smile Brand New First Time Owners

Now the fun begins We drove up to look at the trailer yesterday. A lovely 1965 Caravel! It is great! The frame looks wonderful. The floor has an issue under the bathroom sink (I've heard about the Caravel rear trouble). Of course, it looks old, but so am I The best part is, my dh loves it too! The wheels look wonderful and the tires look new. We need to get a spare before we try to take her home. The brake lights and turn signals worked perfectly. The outside will definitely need polishing, plus there's plenty to fix in the plumbing, wiring, water heater, furnace, stove................. Still, I think someone has done alot of fixing up on this trailer already at some point in time. It was in far better shape than we ever expected! Guess I get to join the Caravel Club now

Congratulations on the Caravel. That should make for one sweet rig when you put you final touches on it.

Keep us posted on your progress.

Congradulations on finding your 65 Caravel. You may be aware of it, but here is a good link to another 65 Caravel.

funhouse-

You found one in great shape. They all need floor work from what I understand. You have a very complete, very sweet trailer on your hands. Happy trails!
