Front Window Oddity - '69 Caravel

I have looking at some other images of 69 Caravels.
In doing so I've noticed an oddity with my front windows.
The curved windows are rounded at the front and bottom, but the skin surrounding them looks as though it was intended for a square bottom window. The patch work done to the skin has me wondering if some PO did the modification - would the factory do something like this?

Thanks

Julison

1969 only, trailers had 3 square corner and 1 radius corner wing windows.

They are expensive.

They can be replaced with wing windows from the 1970 and up models, which are also cheaper, which have 2 square corners and 2 radius corners.

When that takes place, the lower, outer missing square corner, must be plated in, as your photo shows.

There are a number of 69 trailers that have the newer style wing windows, the same as yours.

Thanks Andy,

So you think it was done after market and not OEM?
