I got a similar clock several years ago for our '63, IIRC I got it at Wally World.

Love the clock!
I've always wondered why they name the DWR what they did. It's overly expensive for what it is, so affordability can't be it. Maybe because it's so small that literaly everything in the trailer is "within reach" without having to move!

Design Within Reach: The Best in Modern Design

I remember a time when I worked for an auto parts chain. Among the items promoted and sold were "Heavy Duty shock absorbers". Not the capital letters. The shocks weren't heavy duty, it was the name of the company... I think it is the same with DWR...

Right. We own a mid-century modern house and would be prone to shopping DWR. But even going to their outlet warehouse convinced us that Design Beyond Reach would be a better slogan.

I always find it curious how much more money a company can charge by altering paint colors, or fabrics, or putting on baby moon hubcaps. Can the "wenge laminate" in an International CCD really cost more than the oaky-looking stuff in a Safari SE? You'd think mouse fur lining the sides of a base Safari would cost more than leaving the aluminium exposed in a SE. But I digress...
