Weight reduction?

Is it possible to significantly reduce the weight in a modern 31' classic S/O? Pragmatically speaking-- 'swap the cabinetry for carbon fiber' isn't what I'm looking for ...

A baseline weight would be terrific- that is, what a road functional trailer weighs- less the interior cabinetry, millwork, appliances, furniture, HVAC

Greetings from the Florida Panhandle

That's a really interesting question.

I have considered this very issue on Lucy, who recently weighed in at 7400# ready to camp.

After Lucy's recent 8 week California adventure, I took everything out of her that I thought that I could possibly do without on the road.

The grand total of the removed items was 154#.

I immediately put all my stuff back.

Maybe we could go camping with nothing but one change of clothes, rice cakes, popcorn, and powdered water... er... not sure what I would add to the powdered water...
