I understand that the Vintage Airstream Photo Archives (http://vintageairstream.com/photo-archives/) are now maintained by AirForums. I refer to them frequently and occasionally find errors, both as to the year or model an Airstream is claimed to be (e.g. an obvious 1968 Airstream in a 1969 Airstream section, or a 24' Tradewind in the 26' Overlander section) as well as in some of the text descriptions that are provided above the photos (e.g. a claim that 1958 Ohio Airstream had center peaked wheel wells - a claim that I have never seen a single case of - the center peaked design appeared on both Cali and Ohio trailers for 1959).

I understand that some of these error probably remain from the time these archives were first being created and the specific details of each year and model were not as well understood as today, but as long as this site is posted, we might as well make it as accurate as possible.

Also, are you accepting new submissions for these archives? And finally, it seems that some of the obviously modified examples might be better removed, or at least be identified that they have been modified from original.

I have tried to contact AirForums at the "contact us" email (support@airforums.com) about these issues and have received no reply back in almost a month. Is there someone you would want me to work with to correct these photo attribution and written detail issues? Sending emails to this anonymous email address seems like it is not working.

I'll see what I can find out. I also use these archives quite frequently.

I have been unable to get the Vintage Airstream Photo Archives to load on either my phone or two different computers for several days. I am not getting a "down for maintenance" message either. The page just does not load.

Is anyone else having this problem?

Does anyone know if the Archives been taken down temporarily or permanently?
