We had a 25' FC with 13,500 ac and July in Daytona, it was uncomfortable during the day. OK at night. Wish it had a 15k ac. Now 30' two ac no problem.

To the original poster, I would highly recommend a 2015+ with ducted air.

Roof is much thicker/better insulated, A/C is much quieter and air is better distributed throughout the trailer. Roof is also painted white. Make sure to get awning too and you should have no problem.

Always get a shaded spot in travel camp if possible, but those usually get booked first if it's hot.

This past weekend, I was in full sun. It was 86. Trailer was 66. In full sun, my single 13500 unit always seems to make about a 20 degree difference.

Too hot to airstream?

So true, so true. We were all young and foolish once. Now I am no longer young....but remember those days well.

Off topic a tiny bit. I am on East Coast, hazy, hot humid. Due to my job, I boondock a lot, no gennie, one solar panel. I am usually full do I keep airstream windows closed with reflective stuff, or open with shades down. We work all day get back about 11 each night, but want a cooler sleep. I try for shade when possible, but knot aways available.
