I replaced the 8lb mirror glass on my bathroom cabinet (Safari 25) with mirror finish Mylar. Easily attached with 3M spray adhesive

You could polish the AS!!!

It would be a "full length mirror"!!!

Seriously... Bet a piece of Alclad, Polish till a mirror and mount to a door!

Full length mirror

Agreed, we ladies want, maybe even "need", a full length mirror in our Airstream.

Our previous larger, used, Airstreams each came with nice full length mirrors so it was a gotta have item when we bought our first brand new unit. After getting a very pricy quote on having a glass company install one we bought a very nice beveled edge full length mirror at Home Depot & attached it to the bathroom door, same as where the mirrors were in our previous units. We used mirror mastic (lots of it) and it works like a charm.

We also have a smaller vintage Airstream mirror, from a 30 year old unit, that we hung using copious strips of double sided tape and mirror hooks (yes, we had to drill into the interior wall to hang the antique mirror &#128547. Anyway, that mirror hung there for 27 years without problem and is now in our new unit, attached same way. If you decide to use screws in addition to mastic or tape just be sure the screws are not so long that they come through the other side.

Excellent idea! I'm going to do that.
Perfect fit and no hassle! Thank you.

BTW, our 34' has mirrors on the closet door which swing open and my wife can see enough by standing in the Bathroom or open just right and back into the galley area.

Good luck to you both!

Yeah, I think closet door is best for us. My plan is to get two plexi mirrors; one long, one probably square that I'll put above the shelf line. I'll have to Dremel out around the hinge contact areas... hoping that doesn't crack the mirror. I used 3M Command Strips to secure the first attempt and after cracking it, I had a heck of a time getting the mirror off so I'm confident that it a good solution.

NOTE: If doing this on the bathroom door with the piano hinge, I think a heavier mirror would be fine but on the hinged door, it needs to be a light mirror.
