Ronnie, have you tried the Weboost with that interior antenna? Lack of separation between outside and inside is an issue, booster in oscillation isn't ideal.

I just upgraded to Verizon's 8800L hotspot with Netgear 6000450 MIMO (placed in a window) and it typically will outperforms a booster; in all but way out in the boonies situation, especially data speeds. But when out there Weboost with yagi directional (mounted with OTR antenna - pointable) and a shorter range interior antenna (I like the candy bar type) works best. Bottom line, if you don't need the booster, you will have better speeds on a good hotspot and MIMO antenna and no booster. Also don't look at the number of bars, test the speed.

I also carry the shorter range interior antenna, but even that will usually result in oscillation.

The new iphone has 4 antennae and combines bands for amazing results, but isn't 5G, which I really don't care about, just yet.

I'm looking at going with Winegard Air 360, but waiting to see how good the new WifiRanger all in one antenna / router products prove to be.

I joined Mobile Internet Aficionados. Much of their info is free. https://www.rvmobileinternet.com/

Clint,
I have not tried it but “ This” set up will be solely used with weBoost’ s 25’ mast and directional antenna. I have a SureCall setup with the Omni directional antenna mounted to the crank-up TV antenna and it works fine in “most” cases.
WeBoost sent me this one to write an article on for DoItYourselfRV.com. So I’m installing for that.
I’m thinking with the directional antenna mounted 25’ in the air that will be enough separation?

Overhead kitchen storage solution

I purchased the Sterilite 72508006 Ice Cube Bin, White, 6-Pack that Jim K recommended but they are too big to fit into my overhead compartment. Apparently the cabinet in the Flying Cloud is narrower than the International.
I'll have to upgrade to the International!!!

Thanks for the warning, I was going to get them but thought...maybe should measure first to be totally sure. Do they not fit into the space as in they won't rest on the cabinet base, i.e. they rest on the face frame? Or is it that the door won't close? In that case might it be possible to removed the 'grab tabs' on the front? Lastly, did you try the front locker over the dinette, that might be a bit deeper?

Hey fellas I got another question for your consideration. For those of you that use the front lounge for a bed, have you had the the front trim piece, the one you pull out on, come loose and if so how did you secure it. Mine has four screws from under going through the aluminum frame into the back of the trim piece. They have been working loose. I put a piece of wooden toothpick along with some wood glue and resecured them. Just wondering if their is a better fix. Thanks Scott

I didn't try the front locker. I'll try to get out to the trailer in a day or two and let you know. That could be useful. I'd have to rethink my dishes storage...it could work.
Otherwise they're yours Ronnie.

I got the weBoost RV 65 last year. The first place I used it, I set up the mast 8 or ten feet from the trailer, with the antenna pointing back toward the trailer (that's where the tower was). I got oscillation that way. I spun the antenna and found an angle that worked.

I've only used it two or three times since, no oscillations.

Where did you mount the inside antenna?

Hi Rob,
Off subject but,
Somewhere I 🤔 I remember, you posted your install measurements for the vanity mirror pneumatic lift arm mod. I have done the forum search, and for the life of me, I can’t find it. Can you email me or pm me with it.
Thanks,
Ken in Durango

I'm in a 25FB. The inside antenna is above the TV, on the side of the fridge. The amp is under the end cabinet above the dinette.

I want a flying cloud because of IS cabinets and what can in the bottom. It is fun finding what you thought was lost. Lol. The 2020s (exact model, I’ve forgotten) JC installed mirrors. Hmmm. But the ice cube trays is something I am going to get.

The Globetrotters have mirrors in the upper storage lockers.

I have an L-couch in the front, is that what you're referring to? I'm going to pick mine up today so I can winterize it. I'll look and see how the edge is secured.

The trays fit nicely in the front cabinet. I arrayed 5 across and will keep dishes there until I don't.
The 6th is in the right cabinet as a catchall.
Thanks for the suggestion.

Wow,

Sorry to hear these do not fit. They were perfect in our International Signature sitting on the floor of the cabinet and not interfering with anything. I am wondering if they could be trimmed down an bit to fit the space.

Rich thanks for replying, no mine has a dinette in front and I referring to the lounge portion that pulls out to make another bed. To make it into a bed you have to lift up on the cushion and pull on the trim like a drawer to extend out to a bed. I’m thinking if my fix doesn’t hold up maybe put an actual drawer pull and screw from behind to the pull in front. Before I mess it up I was thinking I haven’t been the only one where this came loose and was wondering if there is a better fix. There are four screws and they only have about a 1/4inch bite.

OK, ours is an L-Couch with a similar pull area. The front edge pulls out about a foot so you can use the couch, cushions and thin mattress as a bed. Ours has a metal bar across the front edge at the bottom. Screws go through the bar and into the lip used to pull out the extension. It's pretty solid.
