Lou,
Brother, it’s great to get an update. Even though we have never met in person you and your wife have been on my mind since the accident.
I understand your frustration with, as you put it Glacially slow progress, but it is progress. Keep your chin up and roll with it best you can. Prayers your both of you to have peace and patients as you heal.
Hang tough,
Ronnie

You guys thing this Captain Trollies would work at the rear where the shell comes down to the rear bumper? That gap looks big enough to accept several bottles.
For that rear bumper you are going to need something with a little more bulk. Sikaflex 291 would be a good choice.

Lou,
Thanks for the update, hope the recovery keeps making progress for you and your bride. Glad you seem to have such a good attitude about all of it!

New guy here - new table

Sean from Rockwall, TX here. Love the 23D forum and been lurking and picking up ideas. Special thanks to RFP I jumped in and build a table.

Picked up a ‘16 International Signature from a great guy in Austin in mid-November and using the heck out of it.

Didn’t like the stock table - took up too much space and just didn’t like the look. So made a smaller table that opens up when needed.

Again great info here. Much thanks to all. I’ll try to be active and keep up

Hmmm. My Airstream seems to have flipped....

SeanK, greetings. Your table project looks great! Especially appreciate the chess board as our kids played the game.

Lou and Pamela, also appreciated the update and am hoping this year brings steady positive health gains.

Thanks Sean, Maybe if I had seen your idea and got some better foam rubber I wouldn't have done this

I flipped it back over for you.

Safe travels,

Smokeys in March.

If your headed to the Smokey Mtns next week bring your cold weather gear and a raincoat. We are headed back to finish up our 4 month stay at Land Yacht Harbor in Melbourne, Fl. We came home for a few days to check on house, get mail, ect. Enjoy your stay in the mountains. Happy travels.

If one reduces the image size before posting, the images will then post in the proper orientation. I still have to double check my images in the "Preview" mode to be sure they look correctly and adjust sizes if needed.

We’ve stayed everywhere.
KOA in Townsend is nice.
KOA in Pigon Forge is nice but on the busy side of town.
Cade’s Cove. Nice but dry camping. Not good for long stays.
Tremont Outdoor Resort Campground is very nice.

We are staying at the KOA in Townsend this time.

Covering for door window

Does anyone have an idea for a covering of the window in the door of a 23cb? We had a brake failure last week and spent the night (gratefully) in a casino parking lot. The light coming through the window in the door was pretty bright and made it all the more difficult to sleep. The dealer said there is nothing available through Airstream.
Thanks for any suggestions!

Ronnie,
So sorry to hear that, that family and yours will be in our prayers.

Katherine, I use a piece on Solartex insulation in the door window in the summer traveling and if I want to block light. Cut it to fit tight and it will stay in place even on the road.

Thanks much, dbdreams. I’ll look for it & give it a try.

Ronnie, my granddaughter and great grand lives in Smith Station and son in Phoenix City. I was on the phone with him while tornado sirens were howling. He was ignoring it. I told him to take shelter in the designated place, which he did. Then I couldn’t get in touch with him after the storm passed. Probably so many calls going through. When I did, much relief. Great and Grand were in Columbus and okay. Tense moments. I immediately tuned into a local TV station who first reported the tragic death of that little girl. Really broke me up. Sent me to my knees. Last I heard it was 26 dead. If Florida Baptist DR is called I’ll be going up there. I want to anyway if I knew where to go. No one my son knows was killed but one lost his home.
