Any way now our Airstream is protected from the sun and most snow and ice this winter.

Yes I’m at work near Bluefield WV. It started at about 1:00am here. Just talked to my wife and she said our deck is covered already.

Leilanisteve and Troutboy, thanks. This pole barn is mainly for the airstream and tv, but I have other equipment to store in it. It's 36x24. Not sure how far I'll take it, maybe fully enclose and turn it into a shop? If I put shed roofs on sides that would give me extra room for utility trailer and tractor to free up the main part for a shop with the airstream inside.

Finished up the install of the Victron Color GX. It’s pretty cool but mostly eye candy. Also allows remote monitoring and control of the system which is cool.
I installed it on the right vanity wall where the furnace/AC control is. We didn’t want it on wall near TV. I thought this would be easy but neglected to check drawings and ran into a vent pipe. So I had to repair the vent pipe I violated and cut another hole lower to avoid the vent pipe. This created the need to have a “hole cover” and I used some leftover 1/8” aluminum plate.
I’m not too steady with the dremmel tool but it got the job done and with the aluminum trim plate it looks okay.
I ran the 4 wires down the gap between the vanity wall and closet wall, then over the wheel well to all of my system components.
Pictures below.

That looks great! Good recovery.
I’m not sure why they brought that vent pipe over at early in the rise. Seems like it could have went up and chased closer to the wall and ceiling.
Does the monitor control everything including your inverter?

Hinges keep breaking !

Since replacing with new tires the hinges on the curved doors under the sink have started breaking during travels. I now have replaced all four of the hinge bases. I've had to remove the sink each time replacing the top hinges due to limited space.
Has anyone else been having this problem? Am I running to much pressure in the tires?

I have the 23FB so I couldn’t have the same problem. But if I were to WAG it, I would say too hard tires is the issue. My AS would have had C rated, a 50 psi max tires from JC. Now D rated 14” Endrance shoes. Even at 50 psi they are well under capacity but wanting to possible gain some fuel economy I went up to 60 psi. I am experiencing a left to right push pull and have tried possible solutuons. So yesterday, traveling back from a WBCCI local gathering, I dropped pressure to 55 and it tows better. Next time I’ll drop it to 50 and see what that does. If I were you I would drop the pressure to as low as 50 and see if things stop breaking. Clint

Can you describe how (where) the hinges are breaking, or better yet, show us a photo of a broken hinge?

I’m with everybody else. Sounds like tire pressure to high. I’m running 43-45 psi in my Michelin’s and trailers floating on air.
Like Rob said pictures always help.

Thanks Ronnie. Not what I wanted but it looks okay.
I’m not sure in the control of the multi yet. It seems that I still control it from the remote inverter panel and the CGX monitors and once on can control.

Endurance Tire inflation
Wolfwhistle,
You may want to weigh your trailer and use the following as your guide. Should take out the guess work and you can find the level that best suits your load.

One that I need to work is the wiring behind the fridge, it is just hung over the expansion tubes between the fan and the switch under the TV, will not last long that way! I then noticed a couple of cut tie wraps and open connectors ~ and no thermostat, looks like the dealer may have robed it for another unit and forgot to replace it!
We do like the new door to the bathroom (mostly) as it gives more room in the bath and by the sink along the bed making the bed easyer to make up and get in and out of.
Will start a few upgrades and mods in the next few weeks as time allows working around Christmas,
Good day to all !

Curious what the bathroom mod ran you. I’ve been thinking of removing the door entirely and replacing with something which affords more room.

Rich,
I'm sure you still have an 'ample' supply of the laminate. If you will send an appropriate size piece, I'll make you a 'proper' wallplate.
