That’s a lot of water Ronnie! I am going to try mine as well. I could use that extra......

Well, clearly Airstream installed some of OUR gray water capacity ( ) in YOUR trailer ( )
Seriously, this is a monster mystery... you're talking about a full 70+ percent increase in gray water tank capacity. I'm eager to hear how this is possible.

Maybe so. You guys have me second guessing myself. I’m going to refill my gray tank and check it again. Maybe video it so we can be sure

Maybe use a hose this time
Time how long it takes to fill a 5 gal bucket and then use that to calculate how long it takes to fill.

Can't remember if I already posted this while we were on the road, so......
Picked up our brand new 23CB two weeks ago, and just got her home on Sunday. Absolutely LOVE her!
The small bed is challenging, however, very happy we opted to compromise on that, and not on the large living space.
We had a huge range of temperatures on our trip, and were pleased to find that the a/c cooled the place off very quickly in 87 degree temps, and the heater heated the place up very quickly in 42 degree temps.
Seems to be a ton of storage. We had some cabinets that were completely empty....below the bed, above the bed, and under the dinette. Plus, the rest of the cabinets were only 1/3 to 1/2 full. Plenty of room!
We'd purchased the Airstream bed linen set. Pricey, yes, but they're really nice quality, and the fitted sheet made life easier.
Last night we had a couple friends over for dinner...in the trailer...in our driveway. (cooked in the house, and brought everything out to the trailer).
Need to decide on a generator or portable solar panels, as well as a TPMS system. Otherwise, we're all set for the next trip....

Ahoy and welcome to the sub-forum Great folks here and lots to learn and share! Although I haven't really contributed much but one day, I will master the mastery of craft from the folks here w/ mad skillz
We love our 23 and will hold out for a few more years before we decided to upgrade. We originally looked at a 16, then a 19, the didn't have a 20 so we jumped to look at the 23 and fell in love ourselves, we know the feeling
p.s. love that pic and that house of yours!

Now, when you get around to it, make a "folding dinette table" ... then that "large living space" really seems huge.

Funny, we were sure we wanted a 25, then sure we wanted a 27, then sure we wanted a 28, then fell in love with the 20, and then the 23FB, and then finally the 23CB. I'm not sure we'll ever go bigger, unless we were to decide to full time in it.
Thanks for compliment....house designed by architect husband...we have a tiny lot, and house is 14' wide. I noticed in the picture that the trailer looks as wide as the house!

I saw your folding table previously...it's fabulous! You could throw a New Years Eve party in your trailer now!
OK...will post more pics this week.....

Thanks for the compliment... We knew that we would like it, but after living with it for a full month in Colorado back in August, we found it to be way better than expected... Airstream should offer this as an option.
I more or less used make-it-up-as-I-go engineering when I built it. The tops are 3/4" Baltic birch with Wilsonart laminate (as used by Airstream). The support section "pulls out" using four ball-bearing full-extension drawer slides (it's super strong!). The hinges are SOSS hidden hinges.
Now, here's the crazy part: I'm considering making another one... I'm intrigued with the idea that the "fixed" table top would be attached to the pull-out support, and the "folding" part would fold from front to back.
In the meantime, if I can dredge up a few photos of how I built this gizmo, I'll post them.

Here's an offer for you: PM your e-mail address to me and I'll send you some construction photos. In the aggregate, the photo files are too big for the Forum.

First photo of the new trailer, which I've been calling Moe. Will see if the name sticks.
So, first modification....a window sticker!! (does that count as a "mod?) I bought this recently and have just been waiting to get the trailer to affix it to the entry door.
If you can't read it, it says, "This Machine Kills Sadness."

Where’s the ‘Like button’ and where did you get the sticker. Inquiring minds (and shameless imitators) want to know!!!

haha!! Glad you like it!!
I got it at the amazing used book store by my house. It's a play on the sticker that Woody Guthrie had on his guitar that said "This Machine Kills Fascists."
I'm guessing that this San Diego band may be the ones behind the stickers, since this is the name of their album....

If they have more of them at the book store, I could be persuaded to buy and mail to those of you lusting after them.
